Well, I have just read the full post (stupid me!) and I just wonder, is it something of a trend or something? Several former Notes/Domino bloggers have moved to PHP recently. Has it something to do with the IBM pricing policy?
Anyway – hope you will not abandon Notes/Domino articles completely.
Cheers
Why not? I’ve looked at some open source blog tools for Domino, but there are none that have the flexibility that for instance WordPress offers. I am not abandoning Domino, I just want a more flexible blog!
I will continue to both work with Domino and post tips at my site!
Exactly my point. WordPress is a really mature blogging system. It does everything I want, and then even a bit more. That’s also the reason I am using it, while still fully loving Domino and Notes, I do realize there’s more out there, which even might be better in doing the job. For me that’s WordPress
i’ve been wondering too if i should switch, believe it or not. but right now i am quite dependent on ddn for a few things, like some of our email accounts.
i hope all is well. i just saw your flickr thing. cool. i need to buy a digital camera. i think i have a total of one image on my flickr account. i am still in the stone age, lighting fires with flint, i think. 😉
Why the change? Anything wrong with Domino-based blog systems?
