This was shot on one of our summer vacation days in the middle of nowhere a.k.a. Jämtland

Really hot day for a lunch walk, but I managed to get to Farsta to eat and shoot this pic.

As you might know, I love taking pictures! My Canon PowerShot A620 has taken more pictures in the two years I had it, than I have taken with all other cameras together! I’ve never owned an SLR or digital SLR, but I have recently had the opportunity to hold and use a couple of Nikon D80 and Canon EOS 350D and I love the pictures I get! And now I must have one myself! But which one do I choose? My choices so far:

• Canon EOS 350D
• Canon EOS 400D
• Nikon D40X
• Nikon D80
• Sony Alpha A100

Any opinions out there? I’ve read quite a few reviews, and hopefully I will try the Sony soon. Lenses are of course vital, and I’ve read very positive reviews about Nikon’s AF-S DX 18-200/3,5-5,6 G VR IF-ED, and it seems it is exactly what I need.

-5 degrees celsius and the sun shining, yesterday was a perfect day for a long walk! This time, we were at Norrviken for the first time. Following the western shore, we looked at the skaters and a “motor kit” that made the otherwise calm area a bit noisy. I took some pictures as usual.

The sun was shining, and it was a perfect day for a walk on Djurgården. But it was a bit cold! About -10 degrees Celsius, so the long underwear was a must. Took some nice pictures before seeing the musical “Mamma Mia!” at Cirkus, where photographing was forbidden.

We had nice seats, just 10 meters from the stage. The show was excellent! Great music, great singers, great performance! The sound of ABBA is still going strong!

A long and refreshing walk in the mild weather, with some pictures taken.

Even if I don’t believe in everything he writes, the story is great and I can’t stop reading it!

This construction can be found at the heart of Stockholm at Stureplan, and is often used as a meeting place, since it is hard to miss.
